For social media marketing, you need smart work to trace your followers. It’s a great tactic to re-use your old content but make sure to change the elements of your content before making it live. Simply spitting out the same information over and over again will not work.

2.       Interaction

True interaction via social media can be a tough tactic for many marketers to master.  Finding the correct balance of self-promotion and intriguing content that inspires action can be very instrumental in using social media appropriately.  Take some time to comment or interact with your current clients and prospective clients to show that you’re there, and you care about what they are saying.  A simple tactic is to ask questions that inspire a response

4 Don’ts of Social Media Marketing

4 Don’ts of Social Media Marketing

Social media do not need any introduction itself as everyone these days is related to it in every manner, especially, organisations and business. Social media is divided into many different parts as everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon of making their brand presence felt on social networks. Most importantly, it’s a communication tool like anything else. Below are the 5 things not to do on social media for your business.

1.       Don’t promote yourself too much

Have you ever been to a get together and there is someone who talks about himself only not about the other things and then you look around the room for someone who can be more interesting to talk about things and different topics, exactly this what happens on social media if you keep on promoting your own things and don’t talk about the other things on your fan page. Social media marketing is all about your customers. If you are only talking about yourself, you’re doing it wrong. Always be polite, ask different questions, offer value in the form of content and links, and then, add a story or two about you and your life (or business). It’s a nice gesture of showing respect to your followers.

2.       Too Much Sharing

You might have heard that too much sharing is a positive point for a social media page but too much about yourself only can be a negative point for any social media influencer. There's a thin line, though, between being engaging and sharing too much. A good rule of social media marketing is to think of what you're posting as if it's a personal message going out to your most important client or a mentor. If you wouldn't say it in front of people who are valuable in your business, keep it off social media sites.

3.       Less “HASHTAGS”

Hashtags are used by people to make their post look fancy and different but if it comes to social media marketing then the main purpose of hashtags is that it helps people to find the conversations easily, for example- #Socialmediamarketing.  Too much hashtags in your social media marketing posts seems desperate and old school it will seems like person is trying to gain attention that too unnecessarily. If one keep on doing using too much hashtags in their post it will give a negative impact on his business.

4.       Don’t Buy Followers

Buying fake followers is the new trends for the social media pages as it’s a cheat code for their small business games. For small business, it will look very tempting to buy followers but on the other side of the coin it’s like a cheating which one is establishing. It looks good that you’re having 1,000 followers on your page but what will you do if your true followers will discover the fake followers on your profile, exactly it will give a negative impact to your trust worthy followers. So, try to focus on your work and build your genuine followers. It will give you a positive impact in the long run of social media marketing.
